is an immersive actor/director/designer. He has worked as a professional host for several touring and off broadway shows. In 2015 Ari co-founded a startup creating tools for live XR production. He continued as an XR content producer for several media studios with clients including High Fidelity, Bjork and Coldplay, and also created MedTech VR for live therapy. Ari is currently the VR acting consultant and lead host for the multi-award winning Adventure Lab and the WebXR event company Active Replica. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes and Vice. He teaches XR theater at NYU and York University.

Max received his BFA in film from Occidental College and has more than 10 years experience working in the film industry including stops at Lucasfilm and Albuquerque Studios. Max co-lead Killing My Lobster, the Bay Area's premier sketch comedy company from 2017-2022, where he also worked as an actor, director, writer and teacher.

Jesse teaches comedy at Google and has been working with Ari on VR comedy projects since 2016.

Formerly artistic director at the People's Improv Theater and co-founding artistic director at Magic Futurebox, they’ve had work presented and developed at numerous theaters, galleries, and cultural centers all over the country and in virtual space. Kevin has given workshops on performance in XR at SXSW, the TCG Conference, R-Lab, CUNY, and NYU Tisch, and presented papers at SIGGRAPH and IEEE. Mandy Canales is a writer and performer with over 20 years of experience and has been practicing in XR since 2021. With an interest in how comedy translates in the virtual space, she uses both stand alone VR headsets and full body tracking for exploration. Her work has been performed in OnBoardXR 4, the Phoenix Improv Festival in their inaugural VR performance category, and has been interviewed at SF Design Week. She is a graduate of GIE Improv Academy and a student at the VR Dance Academy, both hosted in the VRChat platform. She teaches XR theatre at Washington State University.
Leah Sullivan has a B.A. in Cinema Studies and has spent several years studying acting for both theatre and film. When the pandemic hit, she jumped into VR and hasn't left! Leah is part of an experiential group of creatives - including writers, directors, and performers - that work together to study, experiment, and explore the many exciting ways in which live theatre can be done successfully, and even be enhanced, within this amazing medium. Leah dabbles in avatar and world creation but her focus is on performance and content creation. Leah recently performed at The Phoenix Improv Festival.
David is an award-winning XR creator, crafting interactive narrative experiences at the intersection of the real and virtual, blending traditional theatrical techniques and cutting edge immersive technology. His pioneering work with live performance in virtual reality has appeared at festivals and conferences worldwide, including Tribeca, Venice, Siggraph, SXSW, and the Future of Storytelling. He won an Emmy for his work on Zero Days VR. An experienced theatre actor and director, David has devised and performed works internationally. He trained at the prestigious Jacques LeCoq school in Paris and is a member of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab. He is currently a research fellow with XR Stories at the University of York, focusing on the use of XR technologies for theatre, live performance and storytelling.
